I had decided to leave Paddington and head for King's Cross. I happened to have to change tube trains at Edgware Road station that has 4G coverage. Whilst waiting on the platform I had a quick look at Rail Gen emails and there was a posting to say that celebrity HST 43002 was just arriving at Paddington. So, I hopped back on a District Line tube to Paddington again. I am still not sure how my Oyster Card coped with that particular move? Freshly repainted in BR blue and looking fabulous, 43002 'Sir Kenneth Grange' sits at the stops ready to return west with the 16.00 to Bristol temple Meads.
