of Newbury station the layout is seen prior to the installation of the wiring and replacement of the lovely Great Western footbridge. 165130 waits in the bay platform to work the 16.13 to Reading local stopper service. When (if ever?) the wires arrive this scene, that has essentially been the same for over 100 years, will change forever.
