Frontage (down-side), Newbury station The lesser seen and used downside of Newbury station is a classic Great Western design was constructed between 1908 and 1910 replacing the original Berks and Hants Railway 1847 station. The footbridge to the right is due to be replaced as part of the electrification and modernisation plans for the station.
