A scene that has dramatically changed from when I cut my spotting teeth at Bristol Temple Meads in the 1970s. The flat land beyond the fence was the site of Bristol Bath Road depot, that was the home to in impressive allocation of motive power. There had been a depot at this location in various forms since the Bristol and Exeter Railway first opened one. There have been various plans for the waste land since demolition, but none have yet to come to fruition.
