On our drive back home in the lovely Rover 45,

we were stopped by some traffic lights on a railway bridge in the village Mossblown. I persuaded my boss to give me a minute or two and managed to get a shot of Annback Junction below the bridge complete with ground-frame and a semaphore. This junction is where the Killoch Colliery line diverges from the Newton Junction to Mauchline line. The latter sees a regular freight flow but I'm not too sure about the former which I believe has been mothballed.
