Concourse, London Waterloo station
Whilst standing on the mezzanine level high above the concourse at Waterloo I became conscious of the chap simp[ly leaning on his case awaiting his train to be called. As I was observing him, a pretty full train from Exeter St. David's arrived and disgorged its passengers. They all rush around this chap as they make their way busily on to wherever they happen to be going. In Photoshop I desaturated the image and played a little with the levels. I also allowed the original colour of the chap waiting to be re-introduced as a new layer. Finally, I introduced a little noise and grain that gives the image a more genuine kind on black and white 35mm feel.
