Receipt for ticket, Rugby-Northampton (in lieu of lost normal tickets) I misplaced the tickets for the single journey back from Rugby so the receipt will have to suffice. What is does illustrate is the cost caomparrison for the orignal journey that was supposed to have been undertken. The walk-on peak single fare for the two of us from Rugby to Northampton was £17.40 (pair) that equates to nearly 70p/mile. The original tickets to Prestwick Town were £58 (pair), that works out to be 0.08p/mile....what can I say?
