a number of other mechanical signals. The signal post has a permissive calling-on arm below the main arm. This allows a driver to pass the main arm at danger in order to complete a move, for example for an engine to be released from its train. Above the substantial stone wall is the station access road that leads to the bridge that marks the start of the main A55 trunk road.
