By way of a comparison of the last picture, I

have removed the flash from the camera and tried my luck at a time exposure. There is some movement in the image so I am not sure what I used to steady the camera as I did not posses a tripod. This image did not make the original collection due to its poor quality but after some work in Photoshop a pretty atmospheric picture has been produced. It shows 40024 being cabbed by a line of young enthusiasts as it waits to be detached from the Pennine Explorer railtour as it returns to Cardiff Central taken at Birmingham New Street.
