Another picture scanned from an original print kindly given to
me by my teacher Mr. Brush who organised this trip for us lads. His image is the reverse angle of mine and shows 76016 and 76009 sitting at Penistone station. The doomed 1500V 76s are leading the Pennine Explorer railtour that has paused at the run-down Yorkshire station for a photo stop. Both these 76s made it to the end of the Woodhead route in July 1980 and both were cut up at C. F. Booth's scrapyard in Rotherham during 1983 having completed thirty years' of service.
