40113, outward leg of The Scanner Express, Axminster-York, Birmingham New Street station
This is a picture that I do not quite understand? It shows 40113 at the head of The Scanner Express railtour that started out at Axminster and went to York. According to Six Bells Junction, the 40 took over from 47122 here at New Street. However, this image appears to show the 40 arriving into the station from the western end that is odd? That is unless it was performing a shunting move reversing out of the station for some reason or another.....help anybody?
