A scan of the print rather than from the negative
shows 37204 and 37282 waiting to leave Gloucester with the outward leg of 'The Pennine Explorer'. These were the days when enthusiasts were allowed off the end of the platforms in order to get their pictures before the railway gestapo banned this activity. This picture was given to me by David Brush who was travelling with our party.
