1131 & 33032, stabled, Salisbury station
Taken by leaning over the fence from the empty station car park, 33032 is seen stabled in the siding. Next to it on the bay platform 5 or ‘Salisbury 5’ as the running-in sign states, is a Southern Region DEMU 1131. I really liked these units and particularly the noise that they made from their English Electric 4SRKT Mk. II engines. This particular 1962 set became 205031 and then 930301 after conversion to a Sandite unit.
