50017 ‘Royal Oak’ heads towards London Paddington with an up service past Clink Road Junction on the outskirts of Frome. The down main and down Frome line signals are clearly in view. The taller post is the one for the cut-off indicating that it is the more important route. The lovely road bridge, typical of the Great Western, is built out of stone has sadly now been demolished and replaced by a much larger and higher concrete structure constructed when the Frome bypass was built in the 1990s.
