When I last visited Foster Yeoman's quarry back in April

it was a grey and dismal morning. So, as we were passing on our way home, I persuaded my mum to pull the car over as we passed the Torr Works on the A361. I walked down to the extensive yards to the south of the road and took this picture of D1010 'Western Campaigner' basking in the summer sun. By now, it had been there for over a year and its paintwork is beginning to to look somewhat faded. It was to languish on for a while more before being acquired by the The Diesel & Electric Preservation Group who restored it to its former glory.
