As the shadows begin to lengthen, LNER B12 8572 heads the 16.25 Holt to Sheringham, the final service of the day. I am standing just below Weybourne Woods and looking in a north easterly direction with the North Sea in the background. Close examination of the greenery in the foreground reveals some yellow flowers. It is actually oilseed rape in flower some five months after this usually occurs. There were other patches in this area that appeared to have been cultivated, climate change or an example of a Norfolk micro-climate; I'll let you decide!
