The regular 15.06 St. Blazey to Exeter Riverside china clay train passes Langstone Rock near Dawlish Warren. This is one portion of the train that joins together in Riverside Yard eventually making its way Cliffe Vale in Stoke. The reason for its split is the difficulties posed by such a heavy train over the Devon Banks. This namby-pamby approach would not have been taken in BR days, just put an extra locomotive on the front would have been their answer!
