A picture full of interest! Apart from 143620 leaving Dawlish Warren with the 15.53 Exmouth to Paignton service, the famous camping coaches can be seen. There have been camping coaches at this location since the 1930s with their fortunes having waxed and waned over the intervening time. At the time of writing, the coaches are operated by the Brunel Holiday Park. Also of interest is the structure on Dawlish Warren's up platform that resembles a signal box. This is a private residence that has been built in the style of a traditional box and a very good job has been done. The original box, that was dismantled in 1990, was at the far end of the down platform. The train is about to pass under the 1873 GWR footbridge and is passing the site of the first station here named Warren Hat and after that Warren Platform before the present-day station was opened in 1912.
