The picture is taken from Back Lane Bridge down a remote byway just outside the village of Souldrop in Bedfordshire. As can be seen clearly, the slow and fast lines are separating here and running at different levels. The bi-directional slow line passes through Sharnbrook Tunnel some further mile behind me whilst the fast lines continue to climb to the summit about two miles northwards.
