91128 'InterCity 50' hauls the evening 18.08 King's Cross to Leeds working past Langford in Bedfordshire. On this section of the ECML the quadruple track is straight making it ideal for fast expresses now an in the past. These class 91s were dubbed the "InterCity 225s" when they were being developed and first introduced. This related to their 140mph design speed. In practice, they have operated at 125mph and given good service over the last thirty years.
