The impressive and smart looking Dullingham signal box is on a tiny remaining section of token and absolute block line remaining in this area. The signal box is a Great Eastern structure dating from 1883 where the signalman still leaves the box to operate the level crossing gates manually. Despite Dullingham having two tracks, as seen in the picture, one is only a rarely used passing loop. The track to the left is the main running line for both up and down trains.
