Goole signal box (NE, 1909) Goole signal box stands at the level crossing on Boothferry Road in the centre of the town just next to the station. It is a busy box with the regular passage of trains a good few of which are freight. The box was built by the North Eastern Railway in 1909 and is one of their S4 types.
