Another box that I photographed during my October 1985 survey of the Cumbrian Line. Back then I got a most reasonable shot from track level, I'm not at all sure how I managed it but I may have walked up from the siding that comes off the line to the north? This time, I have had to make do with this shot that found me teetering atop a fence in order to clear the foliage! Ulverston box is a substantial affair opened by the Furness in 1902 and built to their Type 4 design.
