I had a lovely breakfast at Tesco and then took in a visit to the Crewe Heritage Centre. For visitors to Gresty Bridge, they were offering a generous discount on entry. This view shows the driver's desk of APT-P 370003. This APT is the one on conspicuous display to the left as you leave Crewe on the WCML for the north. Looking at the controls, they look positively prehistoric compared to a modern cab of say, a class 390. But, back in the 1980s this would have been cutting edge technology at its best!
