Frontage, Bruges station
Frontage, Bruges station
This station building at Brugge was opened in 1939. It's a busy and impressive station that has gone through a vast expansion and refurbishment in recent years to accommodate the huge numbers who use it in order to visit the nearby medieval town (as we did!). Notice the corporate image logo of Belgian Railways at the top of the building. This classic logo that is seen all over the railway network, was designed in 1936 by Henry van de Velde and has remained exactly the same even since.
