I deliberately chose this location at the far northern end of Roade Cutting as it is a remote spot nowhere near any roads and one that necessitates a good walk across the fields thinking nobody else would be there.....wrong! There were about six or seven 'normals' at this spot to witness 60103 'Flying Scotsman' pass working the 08.10 Keighley to Southall LE (with a support coach) movement. The 'normals' were disappointed as they thought it was going to be a full sized train! This was my first picture of the newly restored 'Scotsman' that headed to west London and then on to East Grinstead later that night for a guest appearance on the Bluebell Line.
