A going away shot of the daily 16.22 Willesden to Sheildmuir postal train with 325006 on the back as it is about to enter the 'birdcage' in Roade Cutting. This structure was built to support the walls of the cutting as it was at this point there was huge collapse in 1890. The steel structure had to be raised in the early 1960s to facilitate the electrification of the line.
