The scene at Kingham has changed hugely over the years.

From being a relatively open station is now somewhat enclosed, largely by these trees that have grown to an enormous height to the right of this view. 43122 brings the 1P57 14.25 Great Malvern to Paddington into the station. 43122 was delivered to the Eastern Region after a year or so after their initial allocation. It was designated as 'spare' power car along with 43123.
