A ten-car East Midlands' Meridian takes the slow line over Harrowden Junction working the 17.50 London St. Pancras to Melton Mowbray. This train will soon stop at Kettering and then take the Corby line, over Harringworth Viaduct to Manton Junction and then to Melton Mowbray. These class 222s have been in front-line service for 15 years now and have provided a good service. However, if you have to ride on them every day you may find them tiresomely noisy and notice that they do not ride well on all sections of tracks.
