Due to the emergency closure of the line between Northampton and Rugby train planners had to make some quick decisions. One was to create this 10.00 Coventry to London Euston (via the Weedon loop) working. It obviously missed out its Long Buckby and Northampton stops and arrived in London only one minute late. It is unfortunate that this incident occurred on this particular day as there were many extra passengers who were travelling to London to attend the anti-BREXIT demonstration, as my mum and her partner did.
