Whilst it makes for an interesting picture to see a fast express leaning into curves, I suspect that the passengers cosseted in their comfortable Mk. III coaches would not even notice! 43306 has always been an Eastern Region power car being delivered as 43106 forming part of the 254026 set. 43274 was initially numbered 43074 as part of 254010, also an Eastern Region set.
