Despite the grey skies overhead, I like the lighting in

this picture. 86259 'Peter Pan/Les Ross' is nicely framed by the 1950s catenary. It is heading the electric leg of The Cumbrian Mountain Express from London Euston to Carlisle. Like all workings heading north on this morning there were long delays, this charter arrived into Carlisle some 50 minutes late for 35018 'British India Line' to then take the Settle and Carlisle route south again.
