The crossing keeper at Brundall opens the gates to allow

the passage of road users after a train has passed. In the short time Andy and I were at Brundall, he was kept busy as the number of trains passing was pretty regular. In the quiet environs of Brundall, I am sure that that the regular and intrusive crossing siren will cause some issues with the locals when the automatic barriers are installed soon.
