Great Anglia 156418 leaves Hoverton and Wroxham station forming the 12.45 Norwich to Sheringham. To the left is the preserved Wroham signal box that was closed by Railtrack in 2000. This impressive 1900 Great Eastern box has undergone extensive restoration and visitors are welcome to visit it for free on Sundays during the high season. Even though this picture shows the box in, what appears to be, its correct location it is in fact now five metres further way from the 'line that it was when operational. Due to siting issues of the down starter it was either to be demolished or moved; I am glad that the latter prevailed.
