Since the closure of the coal fired Didcot Power Station,

adjacent to the railway station, freight activity in the vicinity has declined markedly. Whilst there are still numerous freights passing the station the sight of several locomotives stabled next to the station has all but gone. However, here 66054 sits awaiting its next turn of duty at Didcot Parkway station.
